Online book/DVD buyers

[GT03ROB]

As i mentioned on another thread we have a tonne of junk to get rid of following a move. We have boxes of books & DVDs to get rid of. Has anyone any experience of using these online places that offer to buy the stuff?

I'm guessing won't get much for them but must be better than just taking them down the dump. If the online places are no good may have to just try charity places.

The little Scrumps sold a fair few books and CDs recently. Prices varied a lot so they worked out which sites paid the most for each item and then sent out a few parcels. They ended up music magpie, ziffit and Cex.

My lad sold a few of his unwanted PS3 and PS4 games recently and got a decent price for them. While he was doing it I had a sort out of unwanted DVDs and none of them were offered more than 1p for. There were some they didn’t want at all. Just mainstream movies and TV series for the most part. It seems they are effectively worthless.

Probably not worth a lot, the days of getting anything half decent for the likes of CDs, DVDs (even Bluray) are effectively over. Unless it's collectors/rare stuff.

Surprises me for how much some PS1 and SNES games are going for...
