Zzr 600 to zx6

[Bazx6r]

Hi .has anyone ever grafted a zzr 6 engine into a zx6? Blew the zx motor and got a zzr6 unit cheap...but the more i look ...the more differences there are?

Have you had a misunderstanding about what the USA calls the ZZR 600 being the same as the ZX6R?

In the USA they sold a ZX6R labelled as the ZZR 600.
Here the ZZR 600 is what was sold in the US as the ZX6E.

I probably wouldn't want to try it, and tbh having previously owning a ZZR600E, and riding a ZX6R of the usa ZZR600 era, I would advise against it.

I'd keep a lookout for the right engine coming up for sale, and sell the zzr engine on.
