Can anyone remember how much they paid in tolls going from Calais straight down to LM?

Anywhere between €15 and €38 depending on your route.

Southbound or Northbound it's equal:

  • Caen - LM main route (as suggested by Google Maps and most satnav)
@ 0h43/37.3mi – Toll: €3.70 (Ronai)
@ 1h01/60mi – Collect ticket (Sees)
@ 1h40/104.4mi – Toll: €12.90 (Le Mans Nord)

  • LM - Calais main route via Rouen (as suggested by Google Maps and most satnav)
@ 0h18/8.6mi – Collect Ticket (Le Mans)
@ 129mi – Shell “Bosgouet Nord A13”, Aut A13, 27310
@ 167mi – Shell “Bosc Mensil Maucomble” A28, Aire De Mauconble, Bosc Mensil, 7668
@ 1h50/188mi – Toll: €29.40 (Bourg-Achard)
@ 3h15/199mi – Collect Ticket (Abbeville Nord)
@ 210mi – Shell “Baie De Somme” A16, Aire de la Baie De Somme, 80970
@ 3h52/242mi – Toll: €8.40 (Herquelingue)

Note the highlighted en-route Shell stations for those in something older/exotic that needs high octane and low ethanol.

Get a toll tag and pay when you get back! They are a great thing to have.

I got the Tag for solo travel, saves having to get out of the car at the toll stations as for some reason they seem to have the machines on the wrong side!

As well as them being confused as to why you're attempting to pay a toll and not buy a drill!
