PistonHeads at Le Mans 2019 - Read this!
Discussion
Hi all,
With Le Mans just around the corner, we thought it'd be wise to summarise here what we'll be up to over the weekend, and how you can join us. We want it to be the best weekend possible for everyone, so to make it that way, we've got a few things lined up for you to get involved in!
Thursday 13th;
then
then
Friday 14th;
We'll be heading back to the Classic British Welcome again for another great Friday Service - see full details here
At 10:50am in the official PH/1st Tickets Bleu Nord camp site, Aston Martin will be bringing some of their drivers over to the site for a talk/Q & A, plus pic opportunity. At the moment the drivers that are coming are Jonny Adams, Alex Lynn and Ross Gunn. These are subject to change though.
Friday night will be when we host the inaugural PistonHeads Pub Quiz at our Bleu Nord camp site (in the big marquee), and yet again we'll be offering a few lucky PHers the chance to win a mid race pit tour of the Aston Martin garage! Previous winners have all seen a pit stop, and believe us, it's worth the late night.
Saturday 15th;
Race day! As usual its a 3pm start time so make sure you're in the circuit in time to find a good spot to watch the start of the race. We'll leave you alone to enjoy your weekend from here on in

Is the pub quiz for the official PH camp only or will that be elsewhere?
Sorry, yes it will be taking place on Bleu Nord in our big marquee/bar area. I'll confirm a start time and post in here!delta0 said:
Do we have an official link for all the activities at the campsite?
No, but you can consider this thread the official link (I'm PH staff - made myself glow yellow to prove it

Most will be straight, but a few will be a bit bent. All are equally good

I’ve assumed the shortest dimension next to the road.
let me confirm as I think they vary in orientation...Jack Mansfield said:
Also, a little reminder to everyone;
Don't forget it is now 80 kph (50 mph) on the main roads (villages are 50 kph or even 30 kph), 90 kph on the dual carriageways and 110-130 kph on the motorways. Plus, the usual sneaky police radar guns hidden away behind bushes etc...
