Really looking forward to this after a mega Mugello.

I’m going to the circuit to watch the race, I’ve been before for F1 testing but never a race weekend. We’ve booked flights but not tickets yet.

Anyone been before and got any tips etc for a first timer?

been before several times but only by bike - maybe hire a scooter?

If not and going by train get there early and leave late - the train to the circuit gets very busy.

Enjoy the beers, take plenty of suncream and a hat.

Pretty good atmosphere, mexican waves in the grandstands and foot stomping in the run up to the first corner etc.

Re Barcelona itself - watch yourself for pick pockets and distraction theft etc

Cheers for that, when I've been to the circuit before for F1 it's been a zero alcohol tolerance (can't bring any in and alcohol free beer at the ares inside).

Isn't this still the case for the MotoGP

I didn't know that but apparently correct....

At the F1 they had alcohol free Heineken @8euros each...

Probably not a bad thing...

Suggestion of rain this afternoon...

Good first session though. Was good listening to the commentary for some bits too. One bit about how Marc does the opposite to the others in terms of his approach to finding his braking mark. Others build up to braking later, Marc goes at it from the off and brings his braking marker back.

Navaro had a 'moment' on his own in Moto2.

I think it’s the same for any sporting venue in Spain.

As usual, brilliant Moto3 race, lots of falls for a change.

Binder I think is dangerous, needs a slap despite Huewen being up his arse.

Unlucky for McPhee, and Toba, but they both made errors. Vietti and Canet really look the pick in terms of consistency.

Race over

Stupid move from Jorge, he loves Max, and that was a Biaggi type move, expect a penalty.
