VW golf TDI 140 2012 plate clutch problem?
Discussion
Hey guys first time posting on a forum, I recently bought my new car the VW golf tdi 140 2012 plate and have noticed something weird about the clutch, but I’m not sure if it’s jsut me, it’s my first desiel so I wasn’t sure if it’s just the different between them and a petrol engine. Firstly when I cold start the car and have it in neutral if I push the clutch in and pull it up the revs go up slightly towards wear the bite would be? Even in neutral, is that normal?
Secondly when driving and changing gear, when I release the clutch I feel some vibration through the pedal? As if the clutch is biting constantly as I pull it up? It only happens sometimes and it’s very slight.
Finally, my car has an indicator of when to change up a gear, but when I follow this, the car vibrates a little when I’m in that gear as if the speed is to slow for the selected gear? So I might be in 4th at 30 and the car doesn’t seem to happy.
I should mention the car has had the VW ‘fix’ applied to it and recently had to have the whole EGR system replaced due to the update....
Any help would be great as it’s currently still in warrenty.
