IMHO an improvement in aesthetics, and a clever way to give the 911 twin headlights.
It looks more classic (a bit LeMans-ish) than the former 996 headlights.
Rear air intake is IMHO intended to correspond to the new GT Porsches.

Boxster next?

Looks very 456ish I think.

Now THAT is truly beautiful....is it the new V8, and what will it be called?

Just so I can order one!

Nice looking motor, possibly the best quality 'spy shots' ever taken . They've obviously been taking a leaf out of the labour party bible 'how to spin' or the 'how to manipulate the press' book
Probably taken by a Porsche photographer anyway and these are the out-takes from the forthcoming brochure.

Deja Vu... That pic ive seen on here somewhere before. I think most people determined it to be a computer image using carrera GT headlights and turbo intakes. Looks goddamn FINE though!

It was first shown in Autocar i think , some sort of computer generated pic , but as McNab said it is truly a beautiful looking car

These shots are out of date. The new 911 is reverting to proper 911 lights, ie: round ones. The new model is very similar to a stretched four seater 993.

I love it - really beautiful. I'll have to have a look down the back of the sofa for a deposit (though the only deposit I'm likely to find is one left there by my cat )

Wonder what the turbo will look like?

Are you QUITE sure there's not a horse on the front of that car? If that's a fake then whoever did it has missed their vocation. Put a Tubi on it and have it brought round....

Ah, so it IS the result of a 456 shagging a 911 then. Knew there had to be a prancing horse on the front
