I have a 2009 e92 330d (n57, 241bhp) that needs new glow plugs. Unfortunately it looks like these are about 2x the price of glow plugs for the m57s and this is the cheapest i've come across:
https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/magneti-marelli-7...
£58 for 6x
Does anyone have any other recommendations? I'm a bit shocked by the price as someone with the older model mentioned they got 6 glow plugs for £25!

Don’t forget you’ll probably need a glow plug ecu too and some Beru glow plug grease.

Plus the plugs are an utter bd to change. The thread in the cylinder head are ultra fine and 8/10, you'll damage them. That's if they don't snap off. A good specialist will use a special vibrating air gun to vibrate them out.

Use a BMW or Beru glow plug relay as well, not Hitachi ste unless you want to do the job twice.

I have fault codes up for the controller which I’m also changing and 3 of the glow plugs so I’ll change all 6

On my N57 I had fault codes for no 1 and 2 cylinder glow plugs and the controller.

I changed the controller first and it got rid of all the codes Inc the no 1 and 2 cylinder codes.

I would change the controller first.

This ^ its often the case , the DME communicates to the glow plug module and this reports faulty glow plugs that are anything but so the DME reports glow plugs rolleyes like most computers st in st out frown
