Life after death...

Not in the usual sense...
As posted earlier, my Uncle passed away this morning. Strangely enough, my friends cousin gave birth just after.
This seems to be a regular 'coincidence'. Has anyone else witnessed this, and what are your thoughts? Is this a transfer of a soul, or pure coincidence that people see as something more to help relieve their grief?
Discuss.

Pure coincidence IMHO. I don't believe in souls.
Taken as individual cases it is a coincidence, but when looking at it on a societal level something very odd does go on:
Birth rates on a national level adjust to take into account society's needs.
At the moment, there are slightly more women born than men, but after a major war (first and second) this can change and more males are born to replace those lost. it just happens naturally, and scientists have no real explanation as to why or how.
Weird huh?

You've clearly never felt love, been in a TVR or witnessed an act of unparralelled generosity.
We all have souls.
Wrong, correct, wrong. No soul needed; just the consciousness that I can very easily believe in because I experience it everyday, the concept of a soul, as in some part of us that survives death, suffers from a total lack of evidence.
