Rollcage mounted mirror recommendations

Hi all

I'm about to fit a rollcage to my S3 for track day use and need to make sure I can see all the faster cars who will be wanting to overtake me. I've located the wide convex mirrors on caterham parts website but they look a tad expensive when the mounting bracket is priced in too....

I have been driving on track with an aeroscreen with just small mirrors mounted on the screen but I'm not sure if my visibility using these will be impaired by the front rollcage supports..?

Any recommendations/observations welcomed.

DPR make some decent mounts for suitable for Spa or Racetech mirrors, one thing to point out though, a cage mounted mirror gives a crap view due to the X member, so focus on the external ones

Thanks, I've checked out DPR and they look good. I have SPA external mirrors so a set of mounts for those and I should be good to go

thanks for the recommendation. I was looking at these on Merlin Motorsport website and will most likely take a drive down there tomorrow as they are only 20 minutes from me.

I have a longacre mirror with these mounts:

Needed a little fettling but they’ve done 18 months on my race car and are still completely solid.
