Just tidying up my HT leads, as finally get my car back on the road nearly...

While fitting new HT leads I am finding a lot of holes in my rocker covers, as shown in the pictures, I know some of them would be for HT clips but there seems too many. Is this normal? Do I need to plug off the unused holes???

All advice and information is greatly appreciated.

The holes shouldn't be open to the inside. The covers are sealed, breathing only through the flame trap and the mushroom filter

Obviously Rover had problems with plug leads running close to manifolds as Tvr do.
I use most of those holes to tie up the leads and suspend them off manifolds using original clips etc. I nearly filled then once but glad I didn’t as they are useful.

Yes I seem now to be using most of them to ensure HT leads with socks are away from manifolds but not stretching or any stress. Once done will get some pics up.
