Can anyone recommend a supplier of decent office furniture please?

I want stuff that’s a step up from the semi-generic office furniture that is all over the internet but equally not looking to spend £10k per desk. I haven’t found anywhere that seems to be a good compromise.

I recently found myself in the showroom and factory of Sven Christiansen near Birmingham and their stuff looked really nice. All made in the UK with a combination of modern machinery and hand finishing. From a quick look online their desks cost hundreds rather than thousands.

Electronically adjustable office desks are available from Ikea pretty reasonably!

Have you thought about high-end but used? There are many companies supplying them at big discounts.
