0% Finance on a Rolex
Discussion
Just some cautionary advice.
Only buy the Rolex if you really like it and can afford it.
This Rolex bubble is only for the hard to get hot models. The models you see in the windows and display cases have next to zero opportunity of value growth. I would say something like a OP or DJ you pay £6k for will only be worth £3-4k if taken right away and sold to a grey dealer.
So to summarise, don't get into debt for a Rolex thinking you can flip and make a profit.

I presume OP has lucrative 10%+ return business opportunities that are tying up every last penny of his capital...Only buy the Rolex if you really like it and can afford it.

Think I've walked past Mappin & Webb in Fenchurch Street and seen 0% finance signs...
The trouble with 0% is:“Interest Free Credit cannot be used in conjunction with any discount, promotional codes or cashback websites. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.”
That’s from the Mappin and Webb er, website. So if the OP is after a Rolex that’s available immediately, that a discount might usually be available on, he won’t get that discount.
So as mentioned earlier, look for a 0% credit card, read the small print, and go that route.
After a stainless sports watch? Just save up the cash while you creep up any waiting list that’s in place.

I have no problem with using 'free credit'. In fact my last watch was purchased on the virgin 24m interest free card. It's just many uneducated are falling for the stories of Rolex going up in value and making very bad financial decisions because of what they see on social media and news.
It was friendly advice and nothing more.
Thanks all. Yep, these all valid points. I'll look into the Virgin Card!
I guess my thinking was that in lieu of any freely available discounts, 0% finance seems the next best thing.
I'm looking at a two-tone Daytona. Not sure how in demand or not they are. For context, I've owned several Rolex in the past. Currently just have a 16610 Submariner which I've had for 10 years.
Thanks all.

TT Daytona is not too hard to get. If not in the store you're visiting, I'm certain another will have physical stock or a short order time.I guess my thinking was that in lieu of any freely available discounts, 0% finance seems the next best thing.

Anyone know of any retailers offering 0% finance on a new Rolex? I had a look at Goldsmiths / Fraser Hart but they don't offer 0%....
Thanks
Are you sure the wife got a Rolex last year from Goldsmiths on zero percent and a quick look on line they are not in the exclusions list. Thanks

I'm almost thinking it may be easier to just buy a used one from watchfinder...!
