Mixed feelings: one should support them because (a) they're from this fair land, (b) they actually have more than a singular British subject amongst their ranks and (c) it is not a certain mob from Trafford.
However, as a long suffering Toffee, it is hard to overcome the parochial emnity bourne of "the 'Pool's" Heysel entanglement which directly prevented The School of Science (as it was) from triumphing on at least a couple of occasions in the mid-late 80s.
That 'stolen destiny' would have forever secured a more favourable respect for Commendatorre Kenrwright & Co and created the high level association of romance which success in the post Sky epoch necessitates for prevelance.
Still, Gerrard is a credit to himself, the team, Scouseland & Albion itself so for that alone, I shall suspend the usual ill-will and hope they triumph.

Agree with the bit about Greece, but were you actually watching the FA cup final, where boring boring Arsenal returned to play the long ball and defend for 120 minutes before winning on penalties? Now, I HATE Man Poo, but I did feel a touch sorry for them, as they actually tried to play football, unlike Arsenal, who without Henry, just waited for 120 minutes.

Or perhaps Giggs was dropped as there was no place on the wing for him, when he is competing with Rooney or Ronaldo? Both of whom played out of their skins for the whole match.
Besides, whatever the reasons, Arsenal played for a bore draw, and their plan worked.

7,000 of milans 20k tickets have gone to Liverpool supporters already, and they still have 2000 left unsold. If thats how their supporters view this compo then they dont deserve to win it.
Liverpool have every chance of winning it, it'll be close for sure, and probably any one who steps up and puts in a world class shot (and many on both sides can) may seal it.
As for Everton, lucky to claim 4th (-1 goal diff!) but fair do's see how your team perform in qualifying next season. I'd take a trip to the final over qualification rights any day.

Violence was immediate. Italian fascists, who were present in force among the Juventus contingent, goaded supporters into making incursions into the main body of Liverpool fans, at the Western end of an enormous shared terrace. What were initially scuffles quickly escalated into a series of serious terrace battles. Then, 20:45 local time, something dreadful happened. The Liverpool fans charged into a solid mass of Juventus support, which was hemmed in on three sides by crumbling concrete walls. Unstoppable force had met immovable object.
The Juventus supporters attempted to fall back. However, with no avenue of retreat, they simply piled on top of each other. Panic set in among the Italians, some of whom were now starting to be crushed at the rear of the terrace as the Liverpool supporters continued to charge against the front. At this moment, with police and stewards too stunned to react, a wall at the Eastern end of the terrace gave way. Dozens of Juventus supporters were now trapped against what remained of the wall, and were trampled underfoot as thousands of people stampeded over them. It was at this point that the majority of the deaths occurred.
