Hi just wondering if the spoiler on the 918 goes all the way down, mine seems to just does not seem to go completely down stays up about 10 mm from the bottom.

If you mean 981 it should be reasonably flush, but they're notorious for not sitting correctly. They can be adjusted but be prepared for it to be imperfect. Mine's been adjusted three times and it still curves up at the ends.

out of interest, did you pay to have it adjusted?

i took mine to Brooklands a while back and i can't remember the exact words but they said something along the lines of "it comes under the category of an adjustment and is charged accordingly". can't remember how much they said it would be (sorry, not a very useful post).

edit: mine is still under extended warranty

All the times mine was adjusted was under the 3 year new car warranty so I paid nothing.

I had the same issue on my old 2015 Cayman, which was about 3 months old at the time,

I took it in to the dealer and got so little interest that I got the spanners out and adjusted it myself.

Personally I think the large section of (low tolerance) plastic bumper sort of 'settles' after initial use and goes out of line with the spoiler.

I don't know how Porsche 'adjust' it, but I took off the black plastic underside of the spoiler and just adjusted the threaded bar at each end to get it as level as possible. Finished up with about 3mm gap, but at least it was consistent.
