Window Tiniting to Keep Car Cooler

Does professionally applied window tinting really help keep the interior of a non-AC equipped car cooler on very hot days? It would have to be legal tint.

Yes it does.

It will make some difference but obviously not like having windows open etc.

Have it on 3 of my cars and really useful.

Cheers Junglie. Still not sure because it seems to come in the category of "It works but don't expect miracles". I guess that the value depends mostly on what sort of summer we get and whether I'm using the car a lot when it's hot. I don't use it anything like every day so that's just down to luck. I'll just have to make a commitment one way or another.
