Although we don’t camp at the circuit, a couple of us usually spend race night at the track grabbing a few hours of sleep in the car in Parking Blanc. Any recommendations for getting something half decent to eat in or around the circuit early on the Sunday morning?

We actually have a late brunch at McDonalds - don;'t knock it, they have a posh menu that is really top notch, blue cheese on burger - not the crap we get here. We stumbled on it by accident and it was very tasty, so used it at Moto 24.

McDonald's, Avenue Georges Durand, Le Mans, France

It's about 2 minutes drive from the Tetre Rouge entrance

Would agree with this - the french do not generally do cooked breakfasts so a decent bakery , and there are loads, would offer a good alternative. The McDonalds is maybe 800m away from the Tetre Rouge exit. Walkable but there's a tram every few minutes

The french always look on whilst everyone else in our campsites get out the bacon every morning, the smell of breakfast gets them all willing to trade their past ports in for a more civilised one.

Thanks for that, McDonalds looks good to me; I've looked it up on Google maps and will probably drive round there from Parking Blanc. May even pop round there on Saturday night - in my experience the food outlets at the circuit are awful.

You're welcome. For Saturday night dinner -
on the same road and much nearer is Bistrot du Boucher Le Mans. I looked at it for steak and chips for Moto 24, the reviews were really good. However we just never left the circuit so didn't get to it in the end
