Rear diff oil

Hi guys.
Not got hold of the bible yet so hope you can help with a simple question. 1995 4.0 chim. Rear diff and gearbox. Oil type and amounts please.

First and most importantly you need to identify what diff you have. Mines a 95 and it has the GKN which has a large aluminium casting with cooling fins on the back. You should really match it to the drawings in the bible.

I got my oil from the "gearbox man" just of the M1 juction 8ish www.gearboxman.co.uk. The oil I used was Lodexol XFS80W/140.

It takes about 1.5lts and is one pig of a job to do, especially if your car is on axle stands.

Im glad I did mine as the stuff that come out could have been sold on as marmite.

I also got my gearbox oil from them as well, because they specialise in T5 boxes.
