As per the title, can anyone recommend a trustworthy, knowledgeable and skilled BMW Specalist in or around the Cardiff area?

Cars recently out of warranty so am keen to avoid main dealer tax, but I’m a fussy f**ker so want to go somewhere where they know what they’re doing and won’t damage it while there....

Thanks in advance

you've got SWSS MINI & BMW specialist in Split just off Ocean Way IND Est. They are not cheap at about £80ph labor.

Or theres Euro Motor Works in Nantgarw. my mrs MINI is going in for some investigative work with him on Weds. will report back on their service if your still looking

Dragon Auto Works in Bridgend without doubt.
Dragon Auto Works should be avoided at all costs. I was happy with the first lot of work and recommended them to friends and customers. Second visit and things went down hill fast, work cost more, wasn't done properly and some of it was just bodged, to the extent I didn't even take the car back for them to sort it, and I had spent about £3k with them. Friends also received poor service, so it isn't just a one off.

I take it you haven't been there for a while as they are also no longer in Bridgend, which seems to be part of their business model, go somewhere for 2-3 years, them move on.

Wow ok fair enough. I only used them a couple of times and you're right it was a year or so back. Maybe two. I'll remove them from my go-to list.

Autotech then!

Also got B and R Garages just off the magic roundabout in splot.

Used these since I've had the 1 series. Not the cheapest but I've had no issues and certainly cheaper than BMW. I've always had a quote from both regarding services etc.

I've deleted my message recommending them. Good luck with your issue.

Can any of these update the onboard service history? I know it shows 00000 but still good to have imho

Unsure Mark. I don’t have the BM I used when I went to B&R, I’ve moved to an M140i. I believe B&R did update the mileage though
