Lease - cooling off and changing details
Discussion
I've made this a separate post as I didn't want to derail the best value leases thread.
I've agreed to lease a car (within the last few days) and signed paperwork, brokers advise that all in order and have ordered the car for delivery in autumn.
I've now noticed on their site that firstly the next model up is available for a bit more money, whilst the model I have ordered is now a bit less money. I would therefore ideally like to back to the broker to see if I can either upgrade to the next model or see if I can get a reduced rate.
I am assuming its the same lender and dealership, all finance approved.
Question: do you think the broker would be happy to look at it again given that we are only a few days past signing papers?
Had a look at a few other posts and I believe there is a 14 day cooling off period under distance selling, however I should add that if it doesn't pay off I would still be happy with the deal I've agreed, it would just be nice if I could get it a bit better!

It took you longer to type that than it would have done to call them and ask!
The only ones to answer that are the company you have dealt with - if someone here answered "yes, absolutely, tell the lease company you want x,y or z or you will pull out", would you take the word of a random stranger against the lease company?

The sort of answer I was interested to hear was whether people had similar experience of it and whether they had found brokers amenable to changes, or whether they stuck to their guns. I had spoken to someone I know in leasing who said the latter! The only ones to answer that are the company you have dealt with - if someone here answered "yes, absolutely, tell the lease company you want x,y or z or you will pull out", would you take the word of a random stranger against the lease company?
I spoke to the broker straight away and got the next model up for £5 a month more.
