Anyone Had Paypal Issues?

Greetings.

Asking for my under-age daughter who was selling stuff on ebay/paypal, who've closed her account pending her sending photo ID etc.

She didn't know that the T'c and C's state that only adults can trade.

They've frozen her £3k

Anyone have any bright ideas?

I don't want to be funny, but how can she not have known, as you have to check boxes confirming your age?

Hopefully if they do close the account they'll have to give her the money as I can't see they can hold onto it legally.

I would say if she does get access back that if it was me, I wouldnt leave that amount of cash sitting in my paypal account - I'm assuming it wasnt a single transaction.

I would give them a call, i've always found them to be pretty helpful over the phone.

Paypal are going through this ID check thing with all business sellers and people who handle more than a set sum (I think its about £3k a year). I have had it twice. Once they rejected my ID several times, another time all ok.

I no longer use my personal paypal account now in protest.

Yep loads hahaha theyve blocked all my accounts now business and personal. I cannot stand them....

Legally they owe your daughter the £3k I be phoning and stating your issuing legal on them. They are currently holding a sum of mine for 6 month, cowboys
