Bluetooth speaker
Discussion
Apologies in advance if this has been done before... I've just been listening to my Amazon music that I've downloaded onto my iphone through a friends bluetooth speaker and it sounds amazing! (it's also about the same size as the little round box of mints I keep in the car) He's suggested a bose speaker for the car would be the way to go, so just wondering if anyone uses a 'stand alone' bluetooth speaker in their car with iphone and if so what speaker do you have and is it good?
TIA,
Richard

I don't think your car has it, but you might have missed it maybe, so don't take it as insulting but... if you have an AUX port, wouldn't it just be easier to buy a mini jack cable and listen to your music through the car speakers?
First thing I looked for and no it hasn't, but thanks for the suggestion

I just got a Bluetooth fm adapter from amazon £16, plugs into the 12v plug, pairs to your phone and tunes to the fm radio. Plays music through car speakers. Perfectly adequate for my use. fAlternatively Aston installations may be able to hard wire you a Bluetooth system.
That sounds the ticket! Is it this one...FM Transmitter, CHGeek QC3.0 Bluetooth FM Transmitter Car Wireless Radio Adapter Handsfree Car Kit with 5V/4A Dual USB Charger Ports, Voltage Display, Play USB Flash Drive for iOS and Android Devices.
Also tells you the charge state of the car battery

Hi baconsarney
I have something similar to this in my wife’s car, which has an old tape player, no Bluetooth and no 3.5mm input socket. You have to tune it in to a FM frequency which has no transmission, then pair your phone to the unit. As a cheap solution to the problem, it works pretty well. Problems can arise when travelling around though, as your clear frequency can start to pick up radio transmissions and that can interfere with the audio playback. But it’s worth trying as a initial starting point. Hope that helps.
