Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone on here had driven or owned a 2nd generation X3 30d.

We currently have an e91 330d with the M57 and are thinking what to replace it with. My wife wants something higher whilst I want something that has all the good things about our 330d including 6 cylinders. We both want something with more interior space and auto. The X3 seems to tick all the boxes on paper and comes with the ZF8.

Not interested in the 20d and the 35d is out of budget which is about £11k including trading in the 330d.

So what should I be looking out for on F25s. What options are good to have and what should be avoided.

Thanks

The X3 is a nice option but these are also worth a look just for the interiors alone.

Thanks (as ever!). That is a nice interior, however boot space is too small for our family needs.

No problem, although I like the X3 but finding a nice 3.0d for your budget is hard:

But here's the thing the Jeep Grand Cherokee isn't that much bigger I think they're the same width but for me they're as good if not a better car

Facelift Limited Model these have the nicer IMO interior

TBH out of the three I'd be going for the facelift Grand Cherokee.

Make sure you can live with the ride - I had a test drive of one (a few years ago now) and with optional larger wheels and sport suspension it was totally unacceptable (to me). Never been in anything so jiggly! The 3.0d motor was lovely though...
