Help with knock issues
Discussion
Good Morning, Hoping that someone can help. I have an MR2 MK3 that has been sat for 3 years whilst I've been repairing it. It passed its MOT yesterday, however is triggering a knock error almost instantly when any power is applied.
I've pulled some logs from the car (image below) and to the uneducated, it appears that the timing is advancing as lots of other sensors are changing, particularly the MAF (I know the lines of dat adon't quite line up but its only a cheap data logger). Could this signify something particular ?
My current aim is to:
Replace the Spark Plugs ensuring they are correctly gapped
Replace the MAF
Check for leaks on air/vacuum hoses
I've brimmed the tank with Tesco 99 and a bottle of redex to try reduce how much stale fuel its getting from the tank.
Anything else ? Or am I off the mark entirely ?

Thanks, from my basic understanding that will involve removing the rocker cover and making sure everything is lined up correctly on the chain ?
Surprised how it would have changed however just because it was sitting.
Ignition timing, not cam timing.Surprised how it would have changed however just because it was sitting.
Find mechanical TDC. Verify the timing marks from that. Use the timing marks and a strobe light to measure the actual ignition timing when the engine is running.

Ah gotcha, will have to take it to a garage then as I don't have a timing light. Thanks for your advice.Find mechanical TDC. Verify the timing marks from that. Use the timing marks and a strobe light to measure the actual ignition timing when the engine is running.
