Hi all - next week I have to get up a B&B farm track and I was concerned about ground clearance. I asked the owner how much ground clearance his track had and he said that his wife's BMW Z4 2.0 Sport was OK with it.

I could probably find the ground clearance of this model on the net but Id prefer a real life example so I can make a comparison. If anyone here has one and could let me know that would be great, thank you in advance smile

All he said was 'Z4 2.0 Sport'... I doubt it's been modified, and as the man owns a few nice B&B properties it's probably not an old one...

Taken just now while Pratting about with my E85 Z4, its a 3 litre with M-Sport suspension so 15mm lower than a standard car. What are you trying to get up the track ?

Haha, great stuff! It's a Jag XK - 5.25" clearance (as measured with a bit of bent twig!)

0.125" more than yours!

Landlord says he will try to fill in the potholes before I get there. Otherwise will need to take 4 planks... but it will take a while...

Thanks for you help smile

Can you video the efforts please? Should be a laugh!

I’ve never thought about it when out in my Z4, as long as you go steady I’m sure it’s fine.

Well FWIW facelift E85 Sport models sit 10mm lower than SE models, so depending on what the OP has that may help. laugh
