no smoke without fire now is there.

pretty sure you wouldn't be happy if it was your car and you had just popped in to fill up.

As the guy said, sensationalist.
I would be bothered from the point view of it it was my car, I’d be part of the test team... it’s a test car, that’s what it’s for... to find problems before it goes on sale. Other companies would’ve had a test car do the same thing, break down etc... something needing a redesign or modification before production. Yes, it happens
But, but a production Senna went up in flames....
Yep. So have Ferrari’s, Porsche’s, an Alpine. It happens. Didn’t stop me buying a Porsche. Ferrari and Alpine are still have customers.
But you’re happy to ignore the real story....

It’s a prototype which is being put through hard use test to destruction or near destruction.

Iron out all issues before it’s into production.



Didn’t a certain 911 GT3 RS have bursting into fire issues on actual production models not test items. Brand damage from that is huge

I thought with McLaren, this was the job of the end consumer, certainly felt like a rolling R&D with two of mine hehe
