Any help - had a flat battery. - which then kills the remote keys - been advised to put key in the door - turn to unlock - then this should reset the key - however the key doesn’t turn in the door lock- works fine in the ignition and glove box . Also advised to put key in ignition - turn to no. 2 then press the boot lock button- that hasn’t worked - so need to somehow key the remotes reset- cos I can’t lock my car at all. !!

There's a good chance the door lock is seized because it's never been used. Try putting some WD40 in the lock and wiggling/working the key carefully.

That seems like the most likely explanation and is the only thing I can see that would prevent the key from turning in the lock. Corrosion is one possible cause of that.

Well it's either that or its the wrong key for the lock.
