Front cooling fans going mental
Discussion
Help guys,
987 model.
Went out on Monday night during the heavy downpour and drove through a rather large collection of water on a section of unlit dual carriageway.
The front right fan has been blowing very warm air out of the car intermittently ever since. And the panel gets very warm to the touch. Doesn't seem like it's getting any better. I do have grilles on the front btw.

If it was gritty or sandy water it could have blocked up the condenser causing a blockage in airflow and therefore working inefficiency and leading the fan to keep having to go on. Given you have grills it’s unlikely to be anything bigger than sand or grit.
Perhaps a blast with a jet wash on medium setting would clear it and make it work again.
Otherwise check your coolant make sure there’s no leaks, or it could be water in the fan’s electrics, but I’d say that’s unlikely.
