Split in intake pipe
Discussion
Hi all,
Would rubber intake pipe with split in it cause any issues to the running of a vehicle.
The split is on the pipe before the TB, The MAF/MAP sensor is after the split, so technically it's not unmetered air?
I sprayed some carb cleaner directly around the split and the engine didn't do anything.

You've pretty much nailed it. Would rubber intake pipe with split in it cause any issues to the running of a vehicle.

Only issue is the air is unfiltered. Put a bit of duck/duct tape on it.
