Recomendations to expand my Father's barbecuing horizons?
Discussion
So my dad loves a barbecue and during the summer could have one once a week but he's never really branched out from sausages, burgers and Chicken pieces. These are great, but I want to get him to do a bit more. He recently bought what looks like one of these except it only comes with one detachable shelf and doesn't have the chimney for smoking. It's a decent size so I was going to get him something to expand his barbecue horizons a little for a kind of fathers day gift, although at the end of the month! Can anyone recommend something? Ideally less than £50, lower is better though!
Try this, as it still feels like BBQ, but introduces indirect cooking in a friendly fashion.

Works a treat.
Apologies for the quality of video, but worth persevering.

One of my favourites to make on the BBQ.
A real crowd pleaser.
Lamb or beef koftas also work well on the bbq.
Lamb or beef mince
Dry spice blend - cumin powder, cinnamon powder, coriander powder, salt, black pepper, crushed fennel seeds, ginger powder, turmeric powder
2 garlic cloves finely grated
1 onion finely grated
Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Mix well with clean hands and shape on skewers. Wet your hands prior to shaping.
Serve in a toasted pita bread, with a spoon of tzatziki sauce, some sliced tomato, red onion and shredded lettuce.
Chili sauce optional
