Clearly this guy knows a thing or two about the names of such toys where as the rest of are blissfully unaware.
I suppose the names are used to appeal to a certain type of man. I mean, Ranger, Barbarian, Amorok (an Inuit wolf), Frontier, Hombre, Blade... etc etc. While sat in a traffic jam on your local high street you can imagine you are closing the badlands pursued by a nasty bunch of assassins. Until you get to work pull up your chair and pull out your keyboard.

Funny how the Cougar all but disappeared from the roads after the name became synonymous with something entirely different

Just gave ours back after 18 months, as per one post already says, dont buy as they depreciate horribly - but possible to lease a twin cab for £175ish a month. Need to factor in load liner and cover, note no luggage space if rear seats in use & ride is very bouncy.Bennno

The L200 was better 4 up or with weight in back
Ran one for 3 years, was perfectly acceptable for farm/family transport.
Was very comfy for long journeys, would do ~35mpg on a run.
Needs canopy, weight in the back to settle rear down, but fine otherwise.
Btw, is only dual cap pickup which can run in 4wd on tarmac and isn't subject to van speed limits.
New one out in summer with updated front/rear and new 6 speed auto;
