DB9 Manual Gearbox Cable Required

Hi guys,

So, without going into a long story, I need a new manual gearbox cable part number 4G43-7E395-AD.

Only problem is that AM don’t have any in stock - they are on back-order with no delivery date. Meanwhile my car is off the road and the forecast is good!

Anyone got any idea if this part is the same as any other car’s gear cable? Or does anyone like who manufactures them?

Was with AM Racing this weekend at Le Mans and they are kindly trying to help source the part for me but any help from anyone would be hugely appreciated.

(Oddly when I Ebay search, a load of Mondeo gear cables come up - I wonder if they’re the same part?)

Yes, thanks. Have messaged them but they don’t hold stock so will have to order from AM - so no improvement sadly!

I doubt that Mondeo cables would be of any use, because our gearboxes (unlike Mondeo) are at the back of the car.

Hopefully someone can tell you who the supplier to AML is?

After lots of searching, I’ve had to buy both cables (there are two) and the gearstick as well! £560 delivered. Not ideal!

At least I can sell the gearstick on eBay...
