335i DCT vs Auto
Discussion
Considering 2 335i m sport e93s, both pre LCI with I-drive, similar mileage. One is DCT and one is standard auto, but there's 2k difference in price. Is it worth spending the extra on DCT?
Would prefer DCT but not sure it's worth an additional 2k! That could get me replica CSLs, m performance grilles and spoiler on the standard auto with change leftover. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

DCT's are superb in manual mode, and ok as auto's
If you like to drive it in manual mode a fair bit, DCT is better - if you leave it in auto most of the time, the autos are better IMO
A lot of these dual clutch transmissions can have dreadful flat spots when slowing, then pulling away - BMW/Mercedes/Porsche all do it in my experience

Thanks. 95% of the time it'll be driven in auto tbh. Any common issues or recommended servicing on the auto box to look out for? If you like to drive it in manual mode a fair bit, DCT is better - if you leave it in auto most of the time, the autos are better IMO
