Nazi Bunker Thread - too soon to ask?

Something jogged my memory on the Nazi Bunker thread and the strange way it ended - I think someone suggested a book or TV show was going to be made? and that's why all the updates dropped off (that and stalker types).

I moved shortly after and wondered did anything get made? Or did the OP ever update?

This thread resurrection reminds me of poor old Bob, an innocent boulder that got destroyed in the name of curiosity.

For Bob's sake, there should be an end point to this story otherwise he passed on in vain.

I believe that when they broke into the chamber they discovered a lotus Elise which was to be given away in some competition or other.

I think the OP stopped updating as a random PHer rocked up to his house to "help" having travelled from the UK unannounced.
