It was wonky from the outset! It looks very salvageable though.

It was an everyday boat hauler , if you read the article it wasn't secured properly .Not that surprising considering you have a 15ft wide boat on a 2ft wide trailer...

Whoops! The dangers of slip loading I suppose - I would imagine they didn't stop to tie it down because they wouldn't get moving again with all that weight, they already had a JCB helping to tow it up the slope.
I saw that as the problem, the JCB did not take a wide enough line forcing the rig to cut the corner where the trailer dropped into soft ground.Steve
