Long shot but i'll try anyway

Long story short , on Sunday i was amongst the crowd on track for the podium ceremony!
Whilst taking pictures some lovely person decided to swipe my wallet

I'm happy to report that it had no money in it, so i'm hoping he discovered this then tossed it.

Anybody find a wallet whilst at le mans?
Particularly one with UK Cards inside?

We were there too, can't believe that happened. Try ringing the circuit and the police, it might have been handed in

I had my wallet lifted during the drivers parade a few years ago. Fortunately I left no cards in it and very little cash. I reported it to the French 5-0 and they found and posted it back to me about 3 weeks later.

There was a scrap at the circuit tram stop on Thursday as a couple of local youths were jumped after being spotted trying to nick wallets. They got away....

We did try to report it once back at camp , we got put through to a translator who transferred us to the local station.
Unfortunately nobody seemed to speak English.

Will give the circuit a call.

Good idea

For Future Le Mans i shall hide my cards in the car somewhere and carry my wallet with only cash in it.

Good idea

For Future Le Mans i shall hide my cards in the car somewhere and carry my wallet with only cash in it.

I have my back pack strapped on my chest when I go anywhere busy, that way I'd see if anyone was trying anything - it's fool proof, even if I look like I'm carry a baby on my chest

We camped at Expo this year.

Two nights running there were people stealing.
Fortunately on Sunday one of them was caught.

Tried to run out of the exit but security tackled him.

Le Mans seems to attract scumbags.
Won't be camping on Expo again thats for sure.
Gonna attempt to use 1st Tickets/Pistonheads camping next time i go.

Used Lycian 2017, security was excellent
