Hi there,:wavey:
I have had an elise for a few months now but I have just loved Lotus for years...

I post regularly on a Lotus owners club site but have "lurked" on pistonheads for quite a while now, and have finally decided to join up as you seem such a friendly and informative bunch.

I have no running problems at the moment, she just goes like a dream. Having major service this weekend just to check things over before the summer fun starts. Just love the top off and blasts in the country. Going to be HOT this w/end...might see you out and about!:driving:

I'm just relieved that I can say it must have been morning sickness and not my chilli!

Welcome to the fold from the other side of the world (NZ).

I've just realised my long time dream of owning a Lotus and just got myself a S1 .... They're rare as hell in this part of the world so finding the right one was a stroke of luck, but like you, I'm totally in love... the thing that sucks is that we're coming into winter..... but fingers crossed for the odd sunny day....

..make yourself at home, they're a great bunch in here.

WOW I wish my Girlfriend loved my Elise!

She hates it,
She said it's impractical,
Impossible to get in and out of,
Extremely Loud (forgot to tell her about the sports exhaust and Hurricane induction kit )
& really embarrassing because everyone looks at you

Needless to say she is now band from coming with in 10 feet of my car, and she is on an official Yellow Card

It's nice to see there are woman out there that appreciate the finer things in life, Especially the 111s sort!

Apologies Wendyg!! You are all fantastic ladies in my opinion, as you all drive Elises - not forgetting Debbie Jane too - haven't heard from her on here in a while though.

All these lady Elise drivers just turn me on!

Are any of you sexy ladyies single

Tina E how are you adjusting to life with an Elise after owning a mini? I had an 03 Cooper S before and loved every min. Probably the only car I would go back to owning if I got rid of my Elise.

Trade her in for a newer, faster, dirtier model .
