Post ideas for your kid's school lunchbox
Discussion
Hello everyone, could you please let me know what things you and your better half put in your kid's lunchbox for school?
My stuff is always the same boring things (cheese sandwich, cucumber slices, fruit and a treat like crisps or mini biscuits) and I'm sure the oldest is getting bored.
I'm looking for healthier alternatives and I think I'll start preparing the night before as I'm always rushed in the mornings and do whatever is quickest/easiest.
Thanks

Jam sandwiches
Chipsticks
Club biscuit
Satsuma
Things might have changed a bit since my day though
My mum made the sandwiches up on a Sunday and froze them for the week. If they didn’t come out until the morning the jam would often still be slightly frozen at lunchtime.
My daughter takes a packed lunch to preschool once a week, generally something like:
Cheese & pepperoni wrap
Olives
Red or yellow pepper/Carrot sticks/cucumber
Fruit
Yogurt coated rice cake
They’re not allowed biscuits/crisps/chocolate at all!
