Hi folks,

Just wanted to get a temperature check on what the consensus currently is on what 991.2 prices are doing now and what they are likely to do with the 992 deliveries coming through in the next 6 months onwards?

Specifically interested in 991.2 GTS prices personally as potential buyer but interested to hear opinions on all 991.2 models.

Cheers

Thanks, 911R.

Values still seem a bit richer than I anticipated on the sticker price - you think they are going for asking generally, or dealers having to do deals and let them go 5%-10% lower?

Very little is achieving 'sticker' price at the moment, unless aggressively priced.

You have nothing to lose by offering 5-10% less, it's a fair starting point & the car market is on it's ar5e at the mo!

It’s quarter end in ten days...you won’t get 10% off because that’s more than the margin that dealers have in used cars...you might get 5% off if the dealer has owned the car for a while and needs to hit a volume target for quarter end...and you take finance.

I can’t see GTS 991.2 prices performing too well in relation to other models.
It’s the first generation of a new technology (turbo vs nasp) which is never a good thing for future values, and by the 991.2 era GTS is becoming more of a trim level than really standout performance. Ok yes it’s better than a S but ....
Already 991.2 GTS are falling below decent 991.1 GTS.
Just my opinion and I fully accept I may be wrong!

Really interesting, thanks for the input folks. Probably not in a buying position for the next three-six months but really going to keep a close eye on things.

I think I would pay more for a well specced manual 991.1 GTS than the equivalent 991.2 GTS with the turbo's.

There’s definitely a lot to be said for a manual box with a naturally aspirated engine but the manual 991.2 GTS I drove was pretty good! I think there are also a lot more manual .2’s around than .1’s....the craze for manual 911’s only really started after most .1’s had been delivered.

I preferred the torque in the 991.2 GTS + more modern info + bits (much prefer the alloys on the 991.2 as well / more central twin exhausts.)

Picking one up in a couple of weeks, so hoping it won't drop in value like a stone, but who knows!

Nice JD!

Manual 991.2 GTS was exactly what I had in mind. Rear Axle steer, carbon buckets and manual are my must haves. Silver paint too ideally.

Post some pics of yours when you get it.
