Good evening fellow Pistonheads,

I've just picked up a nice, clean non-running Peugeot 205 gti 1.9. This is the long overdue body doner to resserect my beloved LAD Motorsport 205 that was killed in action last year. Its taken me this long to find a solid car at sensible money!
All going to plan the engine, gearbox and rear beam should be swapped over soonish, and i'll be spending the remainder of the summer blatting around Aberdeenshire and knockhill...Hurrah !

..are any of you partial to a pokey pug??

Well, derived from my favourite rally car - the T16.

It's handling nirvana - a FWD chassis that provokes oversteer and an engine literally bursting out of its seams.

Love it, as an everyday car it's unbeaten in terms of fun-per-£.

Used to have a 1.6 with a MI16 transplant and throttle bodies. Badged up as an STDT

Fantastic little car. Should have kept it.

Already a member mate - has helped me out of a couple of scrapes already, better than a Haynes manual!
