Where abouts in Birmingham, I'm thinking of getting my Steel wheels for my 106 Rallye refurbished and powder coating them white might be the solution.

I know a spot at Compton Verney in Warwickshire that does a good job. Haven't got the name or number to hand but could get them it you want.

May I suggest that if anyone is looking at coating a 'grubby bit' (chassis etc...) that will be difficult to see once fitted, It's better to get it coated using a light colour because when the coating gets scratched (and it will some day) the resulting rust shows up better. About 15 years ago a friend had a crossmember caoted in black. He had to take the engine out last year and found that the cross member was now a plastic cover over rust. If it had been white (or light) the scratch could have been noticed and treated years ago instead of letting the damp in and holding it there.

Or maybe not...

Alpineandy - that's a good point, was planning for black but I can see how it could hide a multitude of sins. I'll bear it in mind.
