I have just taken off the plenum to be powder coated and found that under the t/p/s are two indentical pipes (as in photo) that do not appear to have pipes attached to them. I also have what looks to be a breather pipe coming from inlet valley and looks as if it should go to one of these pipes but it was blanked off and stuck next to it (again as per other photo). So my questions are
1) what are the two identical pipes (I am guessing they are for some kind of breather pipes) and where should they be connected too.
2) is that a breather pipe that is blanked off coming from inlet valley and if so what are the benefits from blanking it off, I am guessing there must be a reason it was blanked off.

After submitting this it appears only one of the photos actually shows. The two identical pipes I am talking about are just to the right of the blanked off pipe (with the bolt in the end of the pipe and centre of picture)) and underneath the shiny pipe where the driver's side rocker cover breather pipe attaches too (hope that makes sense)
Car still has the breather pipes from rocker covers still attached. Car runs fine with no issues and no smoke or any oil loss or use.

It’s the inlet manifold water bleed tube.
You remove the Allen bolt, connect it to another length of hose and into your filling container on top of swirl pot so when bleeding or re filling water system it can circulate the water from manifold via this tube and remove any air trapped in that area. If you simply bleed water system through rad bleed screw alone you are likely to leave air in the system so this tube is very useful, hope that helps smile

The two small diameter pipe stubs beneath the plenum were originally used on the Range Rover engine for heating the throttle body. They are not used on the TVR. The actual casting can be completely removed if you wish but beware as two of the four fixing bolts are 'through bolts' into the plenum so must be replaced.

Excellent, thanks for the prompt reply, so at least it is meant to be blanked off then, any idea what the other two pipes do under the t/p/s?

No problem...I wondered if that is what had happened.
