Astons confirmed for Bond 25

Daniel Craig was overheard telling Prince Charles, the DB5 has a BMW engine and a modern chassis.
Can that really be true?
It's the most Aston laden film of the franchise, so while the production looks to have been beset with issues, there's enough Aston content to keep us content

Jumped the shark with this now. Tacky product placement these days.
A secret agent driving a Valhalla.
Neither product placement nor ludicrously indiscreet 'secret agent' are hardly new in the Bond franchise. I'd go further and say they are a key part of the films A secret agent driving a Valhalla.

Or are you saying it's too much for him to drive a Valhalla but a lotus esprit that turns into a submarine that he happens to be driving in the one scenario where it might be useful is more realistic
If you do want realistic watch Bourne, or an old favourite of mine that's probably far more realistic - Callan.

I'm curious about the Valhalla being used. The car itself won't be ready. I doubt they will even have a prototype up and running by then.
So will it be a static shot of a clay model (in one of the inevitable scenes where Q shows Bond around the latest gadgets)?
Didn’t stop them with the Z8. So will it be a static shot of a clay model (in one of the inevitable scenes where Q shows Bond around the latest gadgets)?

Thought they had 7 Jaguar C-X75's made specially for Spectre so a short drive sequence for a Valhalla silhouette car shouldn't be an issue.
Same number plate for over 55 years is hardly being secret either.
Commercialisation hardly new - advertising Simoniz wax and Burton's slacks in this film of one of the promo cars on tour in 1964/5:

I wonder if the new 25 continuations get the telephone and the gun under the seat (from 1.30 in film)

I was trying to make a slightly deeper point, perhaps more on the technicalities of film making - and clearly failed
Look at the design of the Valhalla, it’s not like a predecessor model (DBS/DB4/Vantage) where some mild cosmetics can be done to make it look like a forthcoming model (good luck distinguishing a DB5 from a DB4 series 5 in the first place!).
Having a moving Valhalla is going to need things to go to a high level. It doesn’t look like anything AML currently build. And Valhalla isn’t due for production until 2021, maybe 2022. While the film is shooting now
So to have a moving Valhalla they will need to craft completely new bodyshells and fit them with something (presumably any old engine that fits?). I guess it may not need to handle/perform well, presumably film trickery and CGI takeover there?
Again I guess the same film trickery for the interior? And how close will the bodyshells be to the final design of Valhalla? Are Miles and Marek having kittens at the thought that they effectively need to get their design completed in the next few weeks in order to meet the film production schedules?
I’m actually surprised they aren’t using Valkyrie, instead, the pre-production models are already rolling and the design is finalised

Thanks - that’s brilliant! Amazing what they can do with CGI nowMy point was on the amount of work done on previous films. Given the efforts for the DB10 in Spectre including the fact that the factory one was completely basic/bare inside plus making all the Jaguar C-X75s I don't think a running Valhalla is too much too ask.
We've had 6 months of e car smoke. (plus a few months before that to prepare) AM must have a chassis/frame and exterior panels etc for show cars - so merely need a few duplicates to be made with some ad hoc running gear. No car film chase is ever at 10/10ths of the cars ability - (usually mismatched cars anyway).
So Valhalla must be driven surely - or as said the Valkyrie would have been included.
