Is there a hybrid with decent boot available on lease for...
Discussion
I have a friend who is looking to replace current car for a new electric or hybrid vehicle but her budget per month is £200-250
So far she is going to dealers and being quoted anything up to £600, sometimes more
She has £4K she is willing to put down as deposit
So far my looks haven’t found much as it needs to have a decent enough sized boot for a lean and have 5 doors .
Also has to be SUV style
Can anyone confirm if this will be an impossible task or if there is something out there?

Pretty difficult to get any brand new SUV for 200 to 250 a month?
Kia Niro might be worth a look (no idea what they're like) but probably not in that budget as new car though, but maybe closest you'll get. Also Kia Soul for full electric if willing to go used or again used Niro.
Think need to up budget or go lightly used by looks of quick look on auto trader.

I think your friend is going to struggle to find anything hybrid or electric with a big boot at the price range, why is it they want electric/hybrid in particular?
I was browsing through a couple of leasing sites last night and I'd suggest a more realistic option would be a small petrol engine, there was loads of options in your friends budget range with that type of engine in an SUV shape

RAV4 seems to fit the bill https://leasing.com/independent-brokers/the-vehicl...

I don’t know a lot about hybrid myself but looking at the Co2 figures they don’t actually seem to be offering anything much better than my diesel hatchback
The only reason she has her heart set on hybrid or electric is for its eco credentials (She is a vegan and yoga teacher / crystal healer so doesn’t want to be seen in something with a big engine)
