According to an article about the 4 for sale, you're not allowed to scrap them so I guess they're no longer using them for non irradiated metal.
I've dived most of them and there's a s
t load of the metal down there! Most of the more expensive metals from the engine rooms was salvaged years ago so I think they're mainly just steel now.
