verify he has the V5 in his name.

ask for the reg and vin number and then HPI it.

yes looks like he financial issues, will be a bargain for someone i bet.

Be aware he might be off loading assets that will be part of his divorce to raise cash for himself. Also check that there is no outstanding finance, before you realise he will be in Thailand with your money. Might even be owned by the business.

if the v5 is in his name and no hpi isues, then he buys in good faith anyway. His company is being liquidated so could be a issue, just make sure you check everything.
