Hi, My 3.2V6 tiptronic has a serious water ingress issue. The driver side carpets (front at back) are soaking wet and the section under the drivers seat (where the phone init is placed) is swimming. I have taken off the splash guard on both sides and seen that the drain plugs have both been removed and the water from the windscreen can easily drain out. Where else can I look for the cause? Thanks.

Front end of the sills, there's a small drain hole.

Thanks. I dried the rear driver’s side footwell over night with a fan heater and the carpet was dry to the touch at 8:00am. Drove 75 miles this morning and its like a bucket of water has been poured in to the carpet!

I’ll check, when I press my hand into the carpet they fluid looks clear and doesn't smell of anything.

If it's not raining then that's got to be the a/c evaporator drain.

Do you have the 4 zone climate control? If so the newer model has a second AC unit in the boot. I’m assuming it’s the same on your generation. That will have a drain hose that can get blocked.

Sorry, just general comment as I stumbled on the thread in What's New - water can run through the vents into the rear (or along the floor in some cars).
