997.2 gt3 rs 4.0 lhd

If anyone is on the look out for a 997.2 rs 4.0 the black lhd one which has been advertised on SOR at JZM is now going for auction with coys this month.

JZM has it up for £344,900 but it now listed with COYS with a starting estimate of £280,000.

I would imagine it’s due to it being worth even less in Europe.

Because Europeans don’t have the irrational fixation on over-paying for GT cars that Brits do?

My thoughts exactly.....and its not just cars.....i wonder if these European manufacturers still refer to us as Treasure Island !!

I watched the auction and bidding went up to £265k.

It didn’t say if it made reserve and sold (which I guess would have been plus fees etc..) it just flicked onto the next lot.

I guess it will be in the sales summary in a few days.

It’s a German first registered car so surely it’s specification is slightly different as well? Im guessing the car listed at the Octane Collection is similar though not the same one?

About the same/less as jzm asked in pounds on a normal dealer. Auction is everyone guess, I never understood why people buy cars at auction with a hammer price similar to market and then have to pay all the comissions on top. Might as well do a search around..
