It would probably help if we knew whether you preferred on-ear or in-ear (buds) and whether you had a preference for wired or wireless.

Used Mpow bluetooth ones I got from Amazon for <£20 and they worked fine. Then I won a pair of Bose Soundsport free from work and have been using them for a few weeks and I really like them. Really light, they don't move once in. I have the AirPods too, but one of them keeps falling out if I do anything more rigorous than walking.

For cheap and cheerful, check out the Mpow offerings. They are really comfortable and long lasting and stay put

Personally then I wouldnt bother spending £100. I got some Anker Soundsurge wireless in-ears for £25 or less, and to be honest they probably deliver some 80% of the performance of my B&W P7s (which were 10x the price).

I still love my wireless Jaybirds x3 but I appreciate these might be a bit dated now.

Another vote for these, I got mine from John Lewis, really impressed with them so far.

Do they let in a lot of surrounding noise and what is the sound quality like? I tried the Bose and Apple true wireless yesterday and both were utter crap.

I would say isolation is good for my ears, I can't hold a conversation with them in for example.

Sound quality is good, more neutral than the Sony WF-1000x I had before but pleasing enough.

I am very pleased with them. They have been pretty much sold out since they were launched.

Just an update to thank Greg. Placed the order and they arrived a little bit ago.

Easy to pair and sound great out the box. Much better than the Bose True Wireless I tried. Sound isolation is fantastic which is really what I wanted. Washing the car is going to be much better now !

Tried those and didn’t get on with them. Let too much noise in and sound just wasn’t £150 worth. Each to own though.

I appreciate everyone's ears are different, but if you sweat heavily when doing cardio, how likely do you think it is that they will stay put and not want to slip out of the ear?

I would say unlikely as they rotate in to place.

I run with mine and they don’t move.
