Most likely the plastic part in the gear select mechanism has broken, or the gear selector module, both common faults.

If you remove the gear selector trim and tap the selector module with a small hammer at the same time puling back on the gear lever, this should make the pin jump and move it out of park.

If it's the plastic bit that's broken you can get metal replacements for these.

The other possibility is the brake light switch not working so the car doesn't know the brake is being held on.

You need to remove the gear selector trim to get access. Mine doesn't have the start button on the gear stick so might be different to your.

Be worth checking the brake light switch is working ok first maybe if you haven't already done that.
